IMPORTANT NOTE
Due to serious spamming where 95% of all incoming emails to APBioNet mailing lists are spam (despite our efforts to deploy spam filters), all current apbionet.org mailing lists and addresses such as sec@apbionet.org will be discontinued from 1 January 2004.

Instead, from 2004, we will change the apbionet email addresses to include two digits, 04 appended to the userid.

For example, if you wish to email announce at apbionet.org, substitute announce with announce04.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and much apologies for any inconvenience.

If this measure is not effective against spam, what we will do is to reimplement a web interface for emailing to APBioNet mailing lists or less likely, to effect regular changes to the email addresses.

Meanwhile, all APBioNet webpages will be systematically edited to change all references to these obsolete email addresses to a webpage, http://www.apbionet.org/contact.shtml or http://www.apbionet.org/list.shtml for the latest information about our current mailing lists and how to post to them. Alternatively, they will be disguised to prevent spam mail harvester bots from picking them up as valid email addresses.
