APBioBox, Release 1.0, Beta1: RELEASE NOTES Features Single meta-installer to install various software components. Integration of bio-app components with the grid middleware in directory service. Workflow client based on KOOPlatform 3. Engine is installed using Java Webstart 1.4.2.   Issues/Known Problems/Future Features Installer does not detect/verify space requirements. Installer does not detect/verify login performing the installation. Emboss is not RPM'ised. Automated, remote capability to update the installed components. Installer currently does not detect and handle errors. A "superscript" wrapper as a prototype to utilise the integrated directory service and automated node selection for large jobs. The current KOOPlatform 3 may have problem if your JDK version is other than 1.4.1. JDK 1.4.2 is confirmed to have problem with the Java Webstart. Installer does not handle installation of overlapping/repeated RPMs. Access mechanism to bio-databases. BioMirror-Installer to allow user to select the database to install.
